In the mid-19th century, China was facing domestic trouble of opium addictions and foreign invasion. Lam Hoi Nam, nicknamed "The South Shaolin Master", was appointed by Governor Lam Tsak Tsu to manufacture guns for the government to fight foreigners. However, a corrupted local officer Yu Kuan hated Nam's dedication to the Chinese government. Kuan sent his men and killers to the gun factory and began a big massacre.
